Im 100% one of those "how could you possibly expect me to choose one favorite song" type of people.BUT when I think of 2013-2014 theme song i think of my best friends and I rolling to the beach, or late night sushi, the "getting ready" song and sun-bathing jam. My girls and I have probably listed to this song 100 times together in the past year.

If I Could Read Your Mind by Gordon Lightfoot
The only song that will be on my favorites list every year for the rest of my life. It was one of my Dad's favorites and "our song" for as long as I can remember. When he passed away 2 years ago I got a tattoo with the lyrics and a depiction of him and the song on my leg. Its about a 1 foot by 5 in tattoo so theres a little favoritism commitment in there.
Wow, you chose a song by my fellow Canadian Gordon Lightfoot. I was way too cool to like folk music back then, but I do now, so I gave this song another listen and it's really nice. I'm so sorry to hear about your dad.
