Topic 1 is an interesting "global media" topic. European countries put more limits on advertising and use censorship against violence rather than sex. Topic 2 -- another question might be which interracial pairings are more acceptable? E.g. black man/white woman has always been the most controversial in American society; is that true in media as well? What about other interracial pairings? Would you want to limit your topic to TV, movies, or advertising? Topic 3 raises good questions, but could you find enough information? You could add "Martin Luther King Day" advertising to the mix.
